    Fly from Vancouver to New Delhi. Start your worry-free vacation with the guidance of our Canadian Tour Leader.

    Day 2 / Nov 13Arrive in Delhi

    Arrive at Delhi International Airport and be greeted by your India local guide and transferred to the hotel. (B)

    After breakfast you will have a free morning to adjust the jetlag and take a good rest for the long flight. Begin your New Delhi sightseeing tour with Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Drive past Safdarjung’s Tomb and visit Qutab Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ancient Iron Pillar. Enjoy lunch at The Lazeez Affaire in the Diplomatic Enclave. Continue driving through New Delhi, stopping for photos at the Presidential Palace, India Gate, and Parliament House. Visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, where you can participate in making chapatti and stirring dal—a humbling experience. Return to the hotel for a special welcome buffet dinner with a glass of Indian wine or beer. (B / L / SD)

    Day 4 / Nov 15Delhi (B / L / D)

    After breakfast, visit Jama Mosque (1650 AD), then drive past the stunning Red Fort. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, one of Old Delhi’s oldest markets. Break for lunch at a city restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Laxminarayan Mandir (Birla Mandir), a grand Hindu temple inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Later, drive past Connaught Place, New Delhi’s main shopping hub. (B / L / D)

    Day 5 / Nov 16Delhi ~ Jaipur (170 km - 4 Hour Drive) (B / L / SD)

    After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the Pink City of India, known for its vibrant culture and stunning architecture. En route, stop at Shahpura Haveli for a royal lunch and explore local markets offering pottery, leather goods, and traditional bangles. Upon arrival in Jaipur, visit the Wood Block Printing Textile Co-operative to learn the ancient art of block printing with vegetable dyes. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the old city market, famous for its colorful lac bangles, a symbol of prosperity in Indian culture. In the evening, enjoy a special dinner with traditional cultural dance at a heritage hotel. (B / L / SD)

    Start the day with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, an extensive palace complex built from pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble. Ascend the fortress by elephant or jeep and explore its four main sections, each with its courtyard. Next, stop for photos at Jaipur’s iconic Hawa Mahal, a striking pink honeycombed structure with 953 windows, built-in 1799 for royal ladies to observe city life. At lunch, enjoy a turban-tying demonstration before visiting the Jantar Mantar, a collection of 13 massive astronomical instruments built in 1723. Continue to the City Palace, a stunning blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, housing museums with miniature paintings, costumes, and armory. In the evening, experience authentic Rajasthani hospitality with dinner at a local family’s home, where you’ll also learn the secrets of Indian cooking. (B / L / SD)

    Day 7 / Nov 18Jaipur ~ Fatehpur Sikri ~ Agra (230 km - 6 Hour Surface) (B / L / D)

    After breakfast, drive from Jaipur to Agra, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Explore its stunning red sandstone architecture, the Buland Darwaza (Gate of Victory), and the white marble tomb of Shaikh Salim Chishti. Enjoy lunch before going to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, witness the spectacular Mohabbat-e-Taj show, depicting the timeless love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. (B / L / D)

Later, explore the historic Agra Fort, the former residence of Mughal emperors until 1638.     Enjoy a leisurely morning before departing for Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway, one of India’s longest six-lane highways. Upon arrival, stop at Connaught Place for last-minute shopping, followed by lunch. Later, check in at the hotel for some rest.     Day 13 / Nov 24Kathmandu

    Morning excursion to Nagarkot, which is the main attraction for visitors situated at an altitude of 2100m above mean sea level and offer beautiful views of the surrounding areas from top. On the way back visit Changunarayan Temple. (B / L / D)

    Day 14 / Nov 25Kathmandu / Vancouver (B)

    After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing morning. Later in time transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your flight back home. (B)
